| Marilyn Perrin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. After completing her undergraduate studies with a B.A. in English, Ms. Perrin worked in marketing and management for the NFL and The Walt Disney Company. Ms. Perrin obtained her juris doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1994. At Pepperdine, Ms. Perrin was Note and Comment editor of the Law Review, a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in criminal law, a teaching assistant in legal research and writing courses and a published writer.
During law school, Ms. Perrin clerked for State Farm Insurance and, upon graduation, joined State Farm’s corporate counsel, where she practiced for 12 years. At State Farm, Ms. Perrin obtained a diploma from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. In 2006, Ms. Perrin moved from Los Angeles to San Diego, and she joined Winet, Patrick & Weaver in 2008. Ms. Perrin specializes in insurance defense and coverage.
Ms. Perrin has served as a judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court and as a settlement referee for the North Central District’s CRASH settlement conference program. She is admitted to practice in all State courts and the Central District of the United States District Court.
